François Henimann, 56 years old, is Head of Connections Management at ELECTRICITE RESEAU DISTRIBUTION FRANCE (ERDF), the Distribution Operator for 95 % of French Territory, affiliate of EDF Group.

Prior to this appointment in January 2008, he has held several roles at both EDF and Gaz de France in France and Hungary since 1980, mainly in the energy distribution activity.

François Henimann previously worked at General Motors France and at SOCAE, a french building company. He is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Lyon as a civil engineer and has an MBA from Institut d’Administration des Entreprises in Paris.
