Frits Bussemaker is an independent consultant and supports organisations on collaboration and community building. He has a solid background in alliance management, business process management and community building. He has over 20 years experience in the international consultancy and IT industry and has worked for companies like Staffware/Tibco Software, Logica and Cambridge Technology Partners. Based on his vision to “organise value” he is the Founder/Chairman of a number of successful associations, such as Dutch BPM-Forum; the Dutch chapter of the ASAP and the international Process Community. Recently he was successful in setting up “iPoort”, a community for the members of the Dutch parliament to discuss the value and role of IT in the Dutch society. Frits is a regular speaker and chairman, sits on the program board of a number of international BPMconferences, has published numerous articles on BPM for various magazines, and has contributed to a number of books including those of Peter Fingar, Adjiedj Bakas, John Jeston & Johan Nelis. He sits on the board of advice of a number of international associations, academic institutions and commercial organisations. He has an MSc from Delft University and his own company Korstmos.
